Burglary

Stolen vehicle
Oct. 19, a maroon 2006 Ford Focus was reported stolen in the area of the Kona Coast Resort on Alii Drive in North Kona. The vehicle has since been located and the driver arrested.
Oct. 21, a silver 1989 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was reported stolen in the area of 73-4300 Kalaoa St. in North Kona. The man reporting the theft said his friend took it without permission. The vehicle was later returned to the man’s residence.
Oct. 21, a black 2011 Taizhou Zhongeng moped was reported stolen in the area of 76-200 Royal Poinciana Drive in North Kona. It bears license plate H34353.
Theft from vehicle
On Oct. 19, a vehicle was entered but nothing was taken in the area of the Kona Coast Resort on Alii Drive in North Kona.
On Oct. 19, a black Sunpak tripod, Kealakehe High School copy machine ID and miscellaneous keys were taken from a vehicle parked at the Kona Coast Resort on Alii Drive in North Kona.
On Oct. 19, a green credit union bag containing money, a driver’s license and Costco card were taken from a vehicle parked at the Kona Fuel Dock and Deli at Honokohau Small Boat Harbor in North Kona.
On Oct. 20, a gray Adidas bag containing football equipment was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at Kailua Bay Estates in North Kona.
On Oct. 20, a phone charger, electronic cigarette, money, tobacco and other items were taken from a vehicle parked at the Kona Walmart on Henry Street in North Kona.
Theft
On Oct. 20, a man reported an unknown man was picking mangoes off his tree without permission in the area of 75-5700 Milena Place in North Kona. The victim later refused to pursue criminal prosecution after police located the suspect.
On Oct. 20, an extension cord and carpenter’s belt were taken in the area of 73-4800 Manu Mele St. in North Kona.
On Oct. 21, a blue 20-by-10-foot tarp and tool box containing nails were taken from a construction site in the area of Hualalai Estates in North Kona.
On Oct. 21, a hammock was taken from a property in the area of 76-6180 Alii Drive in North Kona.
On Oct. 21, mangoes were taken from a tree without permission in the area of 76-640 Huaai St. in North Kona.
On Oct. 23, a purse and its contents were taken from the Kailua Village Artists Gallery on Alii Drive in North Kona.
